In this week’s episode, Mike and Jay talk games with Box Boy 3DS, and then debate for Jay’s gaming console soul. They also discuss the purpose of the show’s brief hiatus, which was for Mike’s convalescence after a minor medical procedure. Mike talks of his fondness for the Netflix show, Daredevil, and defends his love for the oft-reviled 2003 movie adaptation. Jay also talks of the show, with limited experience, and then talks of other streaming content recently watched, such as Communityand Paul Feig’s new show Other Space. Mike also explains his surprise that VHS Viral was not the “shitshow” that Jay had lamented about previously.
In this week’s episode, Mike and Jay talk about videogames, mainly Codename: S.T.E.A.M. He also talks Mario Maker, and Jay talks of dreams as a game designer dashed by substandard math skills. Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIis also brought up, with discussion of its announcement trailer release and a discussion of the ‘politics” of the franchise. Jay then offers a blank check to Legos’ introduction of Legos Dimensions, and Mike realizes that he too must throw his money to the toy company. The two end the episode with some Real Talk, sure to offend some, of course.
